CREDIT CARD
Gloss Brooklyn requires all clients to provide an active credit/debit card to be kept on file upon booking. We assure you that our salon practices the appropriate safety measures to maintain the privacy and safety of your personal information.
CANCELLATIONS
We understand that schedule changes are sometimes necessary. We do, however, request at least 48-hours’ notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment date. If you do not agree with our policy, we kindly ask that you do not choose to book with us so we may continue to respect our stylists’ reserved time. By proceeding in scheduling an appointment, you are agreeing to our policy and authorize charges to the credit card provided. Gloss Brooklyn reserves the right to waive any fee as we see fit.
Please note the following:
Less than 48 hours notice will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service total.
No call / No shows will be charged 100% of the reserved service total.
Appointments made same day are already within our 48-hr policy, therefore any cancellations or rescheduling after booking will result in 100% of the service total being charged.
Please understand that when you forget to cancel your appointment without giving adequate notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waitlist miss the opportunity to come in. Our appointments are confirmed at time of scheduling via e-mail and/or text as per your preferred means of communication. Additionally, a courtesy reminder is sent 72 hours in advance via that same form of communication as we know it is sometimes easy to forget an appointment you may have booked months ago. Please note we do provide these courtesies to ensure all our clients have ample time to make any changes to their appointment before falling within our cancellation window. Since appointments are scheduled for you personally, you will incur a fee if we do not receive a cancellation notice as per our policy.
In the event you are more than 15 mins late to your appointment we may need to adjust your service to fit into the time permitted, or reschedule.
REFUNDS/ADJUSTMENTS
Gloss Brooklyn does not issue any form of refunds upon completion of services. Additionally, all hair extension and retail sales are final - no exceptions.
The entire team here at Gloss Brooklyn is dedicated to delivering the highest level of performance in hair color, haircuts, and hair care in general. Our goal is for you to love your hair! We pride ourselves on conducting thorough consultations enabling us to communicate effectively to execute the results discussed. If ever an occasion arises where you are dissatisfied with the requested results, we ask you notify us within 2 weeks of your original service date by contacting our management team at hello@glossbrooklyn.com. We kindly ask you to refrain from contacting your stylist directly to avoid any miscommunication. Our stylists are happy to perform minor adjustments and tweak as necessary as per the adjustment details finalized with management. Please note that adjustments, changes and any requested re-dos are not granted for any terms not agreed upon during consultation. Also note that goals falling under the umbrella of color correction and/or in need of multiple sessions to achieve specific results are exempt from our adjustment policy due to the general nature of these services, which will be discussed thoroughly during your initial consultation with any given Gloss Brooklyn stylist.
